Burnley aim to take full advantage of home comforts over the next eight days as they host Colchester and Barnsley, both promoted from League One last season, in back-to-back Championship fixtures.

The U's make the trip this Saturday, before rivals Barnsley make the short distance across the Pennines next Tuesday.

So far, Burnley chairman Barry Kilby has been disappointed with the number of supporters brought by away sides to Turf Moor this season and is expecting better.

Kilby said: "Wolves brought a very poor showing.

"From memory, they normally bring 2,000 fans but it was about half that two weeks ago.

"Even with QPR, there was not a great amount. I hope it will improve.

"It should be decent with Colchester. There's always a lot of interest when a new team comes into the league.

"And it should be a good crowd with Barnsley."
