RUUD Van Nistelroy is on Blackburn Rovers’ summer radar as boss Steve Kean bids to strengthen his side’s Premier League fire power.
The former Manchester United striker was looked at by Kean back in January and is again on his list of targets as he looks to bring in two forwards.
The 34-year-old will be leaving Hamburg this summer after allowing his contract to expire and is currently in talks with several Spanish clubs, including Malaga.
Kean though admits signing Van Nistelroy was a “possibility”.
He said: “I believe he (Van Nistelroy) is talking to clubs in Spain at the moment. Somebody of that ilk though, yes he is a possibility.”
Van Nistelrooy is keen on returning to the Premier League.
