ATHLETICO Knuzden U12s have double the reason to celebrate after winning the league and cup for the fourth time.
The team, managed by Dennis Hill, clinched the double without losing a single game.
“This is the fourth time we have won the double and finishing unbeaten all season is another great achievement,” said Hill.
Athletico rounded off their season in emphatic fashion, beating Langho 7-0 in the cup final and winning 4-0 against Lammack in a play-off for the league title.
The winning team, captained by Bradley Boddie, included Josh Newll, Adam Kiyani, James Ashworth, Josh Harris, Tom Southern, Jaye Nelson, Dexter Slater, Liam Atkinson, Oliver Cookson, Owen Almond, George Taylor, Luke Thomson, Wesley Machie and Oliver Williamson.
