BACUP can wrap up the SponsorBank Lancashire League title with three more wins.

And they will face sub professionals in ALL their remaining games as the title race reaches a thrilling climax.

Only 10 points separate the top five teams with Lowerhouse, Burnley, Nelson and Ramsbottom all in with a chance of pipping Bacup at the finishing line.

Bacup meet champions Lowerhouse next Saturday in the biggest game of the season.

But tomorrow, they will have to overcome Colne at Lanehead.

The visitors will have Adnan Malik as sub professional, while Sid Sheraz and Ryan Procter return.

Bacup field an unchanged side again, and for professional Chris Cairns, their title challenge has all been about team-work.

Cairns said: "If we win the last three games, we don't have to worry how the other teams do. It could come down to when we play Lowerhouse.

"But this is is not a one-man team. Batting is about individuals, and when you are bowling, you need back-up from the rest of the team, and they have given me a lot of support."

Second-placed Lowerhouse have lost pro Ryan Harris for the season after he was called up by South Australia, so they have secured the services of Pasan Wanasinghe, the 35-year-old all-rounder from Sri Lanka for the home game against Rawtenstall.

Captain Joe Beneduce said: "We're still in the hunt. If you told me at the beginning of the season when we lost Vishal Tripathi and Jon Finch that we could still win the title at this stage, then I would have bitten your hand off.

"We need to treat every game like a decider. We can't afford to lose one."

Burnley, in third spot, face a tough trip to Todmorden, and again include Lancashire's Jimmy Anderson in their squad.

And the clash of the day is at Seedhill, where Nelson (fourth) take on Ramsbottom (fifth). Both teams are at full strength, and know the defeated club will almost certainly be out of the title race.

Enfield recall Andy Barker for the trip to Rishton, with Ryan Nurse again named as sub pro.

An unchanged Accrington host East Lancs, who bring in Mark Bolton, while Haslingden entertain Church,
