Blackburn Rovers' teenage striker Keith Barker has joined Rochdale on loan until January.
The England Under-20 international spent part of last season on loan to Cercle Brugge in Belgium.
Dale manager Steve Parkin told the club's website: "I think Keith will prove to be an effective force though I don't want to put too much pressure on him.
"I believe he has an eye for goal and he's relishing the chance to play league football."
