BLACKBURN Rovers have confirmed their Premier League status with a stunning 3-2 victory at Wolves.
At the end of a dramatic final day full of twists and turns, it was Birmingham and Blackpool who joined already-doomed West Ham in the relegation zone.
For Rovers, their survival hopes were boosted in no small measure to a fantastic three-goal first-half at Molineux.
Jason Roberts sent Rovers into the lead with a smart close range finish.
And then Steve Kean's men doubled their advantage with a superb long-range volley from Brett Emerton.
Just before the interval, Junior Hoilett bagged a third for Rovers with a superb solo effort.
An expected second-half fightback from Wolves materialised, and they pulled a goal back through Jamie O'Hara.
Stephen Hunt netted a second goal for Wolves with three minutes left, but Rovers held on for victory.
