ACCRINGTON Stanley’s players and staff have been told: the whole of Hyndburn is behind you tonight.
That’s the message from the borough’s MP, council leader, and the town’s cricket great David Lloyd.
Mr Lloyd said: “I’ll be there. I’m actually working on it as a studio guest because Sky are covering the game.
“I'm really looking forward to it. I suppose I’ve not got to be biased, but I will be! The players and the manager have done a marvellous job.”
Hyndburn MP Graham Jones added: “Stanley’s success is a great advert for the town and the borough.
"I’ve been at a lot of games this season and will be there tonight supporting the club.”
Hyndburn Council leader Miles Parkinson, who will also be at the game, said: “I know it's a big task after going two-nil down at Stevenage, but we just hope John Coleman and the team can pull it off.”
