IN-form Padiham look to make it four Ribblesdale League wins on the spin tomorrow as they entertain Earby.
And they are hoping professional Chris Holt can star with both bat and ball after he landed his first taste of County Second XI Championship action this week.
Former Read skipper Holt got the call to play for Leicestershire seconds in their game at Durham.
Holt, who spent a season with Colne, got the call from Leicestershire to play in the game at The Riverside – and that cheered everyone at the Arbories.
“We are all absolutely delighted for Chris,” said Padiham skipper John Bushell.
That clash at the Arbories is one of several attractive games on a day that sees leaders Baxenden aiming to continue their stunning start to the season against last year’s champions Clitheroe.
Read are hot on Bash’s heels and have Will Driver available for the first time this season as they go to Settle.
At the bottom, Cherry Ytee go in search of a first win when they welcome Great Harwood to Preston Old Road.
Fixtures
Barnoldswick v Oswaldtwistle Immanuel, Baxenden v Clitheroe, Cherry Tree v Great Harwood, Padiham v Earby, Ribblesdale Wanderers v Edenfield, Salesbury v Whalley, Settle v Read.
