Blackburn Rovers are rated at 12/1 by bookmakers Coral to be relegated on Sunday.

Wigan and Blackpool are currently rooted in the Premier League drop zone but the firm believes there could be a late twist in the relegation tale.

They are offering 5/2 for that pair to join West Ham in dropping down to the Championship.

The Latics and the Seasiders only trail Birmingham on goal difference going into Sunday's crucial final round of fixtures, while Blackburn and Wolves are hovering just a point above the trap door.

With the Blues travelling to Tottenham and having just one and two goals in hand over the 18th and 19th-placed teams, the Barking-based firm believe there is more chance of Blackpool and Birmingham leaving the top flight and go 15/8 for that to happen.

"With tough ties at Manchester United and Tottenham, punters are backing Blackpool and Birmingham to go down, and although Wigan too face a difficult trip to Stoke, many think they could nick a point and survive," said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.

Any punters who believe Blackpool can take advantage of Sir Alex Ferguson fielding a weakened team ahead of the Champions League final can get 11/4 for the Seasiders to survive and Wigan and Birmingham to fall.

As for odds on individual teams to go down, bet365 are offering a top-priced 4/11 for Blackpool to slide, Birmingham are 7/10 at best with Victor Chandler, Wigan are 4/5 at Boylesports, while William Hill go 8/1 for Wolves to suffer and 12/1 Blackburn.
