BURNLEY v HASLINGDEN

Burnley captain Steve Brunt is unavailable for the Turf Moor clash. Michael Kelly leads the side in his absence. Burnley also give a belated debut to professional Imad Wasim after his arrival.

Haslingden have enjoyed three wins from their first five games and Graham Knowles’ has a full strength side available for the game.

CHURCH v LOWERHOUSE

Church were shocked by their loss at Rawtenstall last time out and are eager to get back into action. Mark Gilrane comes into the side in place of Mohammed Jamil. Lowerhouse have won four games on the spin since their opening day loss and are set to make a challenge towards the top two, sitting just three points adrift of Accrington and Ramsbottom.

COLNE v TODMORDEN

Mansoor Amjad makes his debut as Colne professional in the clash at The Horsfield following his arrival in the country. Matt Wilson’s men go into the game buoyed by their win at East Lancs last time out. Andrew Sutcliffe will lead Todmorden for the first time after replacing Simon Newbitt as captain of the Centre Vale outfit.

EAST LANCASHIRE v NELSON

Sid Patel is dropped into the seconds as East Lancashire look to return to winning ways against a Nelson side who have yet to win this season. Danny Chester keeps his place. Nelson opener Peter Dibb will make his Lancashire League debut. Dibb broke a finger in pre-season and was due back last weekend against Colne – but derby day was washed out.

ENFIELD v BACUP

Liam Jackson again leads Enfield in place of the injured Adam Bracewell in the game at Dill Hall Lane.

Home professional Werner Coetsee’s battle with Bacup’s paid man Jon-Jon Smuts promises to be a thriller. Just five points separate the sides ahead of the game and Bacup are at full strength.

RAMSBOTTOM v ACCRINGTON

Andy Hakin is fit again for the reigning champions but he returns to action in the seconds. Dale Gabriel and Jack Walmsley will share bowling duties in addition to Jon Fielding and Michael Haslam. Accrington’s start to the season has been stunning with four wins and one no result and they head the table going into the biggest clash of the campaign to date.

RAWTENSTALL v RISHTON

Pervez Aziz stands in as professional for Rawtenstall as Vinny Hanson’s men look to build on their win over Church last time out. They have signed Nilantha Cooray to replace Malinga Bandara but he has yet to arrive.

Rishton are bottom of the table and have yet to collect a point from their five games – but professional Cameron Delport looks the real deal.
