CHORLEY Golf Club professional Mark Bradley continued his impressive start to the season when he finished second in the £20,000 Renewable Service Group Pro-am at East Yorkshire club Cottingham.
He added a 69 to his opening round of 71 for a four-under-par total, three shots adrift of winner Matthew Marsh from Sheffield club Hallowes who plays on the EuroPro Tour.
Bradley, a past PGA North Region champion who tied first in the inaugural 1836 Tour at West Lancs last month, won £3,000.
Meanwhile, Alan Ingham and John McLaughlin won the George Birtill Memorial Trophy at the Hall o’th’ Hill club where the former Chorley Guardian editor was honorary secretary and twice captain.
