BLACKBURN Rovers face an anxious wait on the fitness of skipper Chris Samba after failing to secure their Premier League safety this afternoon.
Rovers' man mountain limped out of the 1-1 draw with Manchester United late on, after Wayne Rooney's 72nd minute penalty secured United the Premier League title.
Rovers now travel to Wolves next Sunday still possibly needing a result to stay up, with Samba struggling with a tight hamstring and groin.
Jermaine Jones was replaced due to "being empty for energy", while Junior Hoilett was taken off after his hamstring tightened up again.
