QEGS U15s won the plate competition at the Lanca-shire Emerging Schools final at Liverpool St Helens.
The Blackburn team beat Range High School from Formby 36-10 – much to the delight of coach John Morgan, who is also head coach at Blackburn RUFC.
He said: “The players put up a tremendous perform-ance and showed a great attitude, not just in the final but throughout the season.”
Captain Ramzy Goorani-Nejad received the Plate from Sale’sKarl Fearns.
