Clitheroe shot to the top of the Unibond League Division One with an impressive win over Bridlington.
The young home side took the lead on three minutes when Simon Garner's shot from outside the box was deflected home by Ian Johnson.
The second goal came again from Johnson, prodding home Greg Anderson's header at the back post after 26 minutes.
Clitheroe continued to overrun Bridlington in the second half and got a third through the exciting Paul Lamb in the 78th minute when he out-paced the defence and slotted the ball past the keeper to send Clitheroe top with a 100 per cent start to the season.
