DEPLETED Dale showed their fighting spirit with a hard-earned point at Glossop.
The Stags had several key players missing for the trip to Surrey Street but took the game to their hosts with Steve Burke forcing the home keeper in to a smart save.
At the other end, Dale keeper Mark Baguley produced a stunning save to make sure the game was scorless at the break. However, three minutes after the restart, Dale took the lead when Chris Baguley drilled home a wonderful 30 yard effort.
Glossop piled on the pressure in search of an equaliser and finally got one through Matt Oakes just before the hour mark.
