BLACKBURN finally produced the performance they had threatened all season with a 10-try romp against Whitehaven – a team they had lost to earlier in the season.
The Ramsgreave Drive side showed what giant strides they have made under John Morgan this season as they moved in on a top three finish in the North Lancs/Cumbria Division.
Paul Millea, Richard Mauldsley, Des Blackburn and Sam Morgan all crossed for first half tries.
And it got better after the break with Craig Diggle, Dino Radice, Rob Parker and John Beeston all touched down.
Joe Holden, deputising for Paul Bleasdale at scrum half, capped a man-of-the-match performance with a ninth try with Phil Hesketh completing the scoring.
Michael Jones kicked three conversions.
