DALE player/coach Tim Fourie admitted he is tempted to pop the match dvd in the post to the referee.
Despite running in four tries, Dale still ended up losing after the official awarded Darlington two touchdowns that shouldn’t have been.
“We didn’t help ourselves and didn’t really play as a team but two of their tries should not have been awarded,” said Fourie. “One came from a knock-on and the other from a forward pass.
“I’m going to watch the dvd and then I might stick it in the post to the referee.”
Paddy Pole crossed for two tries with Johan Goosen and Danny Collins also touching down.
But Dale, who led 10-7 at the break, were always playing catch-up after Darlington took the lead early in the second half.
