DALE fought back from 20-3 down to secure a last-gasp win at Lymm thanks to a late penalty from Jamie Albinson.
After James Bramhall had got points on the board for Dale, the home side opened up a commanding lead.
A try from Paddy Pole cut the gap to 20-8 at the break.
Lymm scored a try to go 25-8 up but Dale hit back with 20 unanswered points.
Pole went over for his second try before Ian Marshall and Mark Elliner both crossed the line.
And it was left to Albinson to kick the winning points.
