CRISIS club Rossendale United have had their Vodkat League game at Squires Gate today postponed by the league's management committee.
The Stags were due to travel to Blackpool this afternoon but after a meeting yesterday, Vodkat League chiefs have called the Premier Division clash off.
Tuesday's scheduled local derby at Ramsbottom United has also been postponed as the future of the 113-year-old club remains in the balance.
The water supply at the club's Dark Lane ground has been cut off because of unpaid bills, while the Vodkat League have been told disconnection of other utilities could follow.
Manager Paul Colgan and his coaching staff have walked out and the players have been encouraged to find new clubs.
But Haslingden-based player Matthew Marcroft says he would be prepared to stay with the Stags - if they could put a side together.
He said: "To be honest, I don't what's going on with all the players.
"I am prepared to carry on playing if the they are looking to continue to fulfil their fixtures.
"We have been advised to look for other clubs though, which I am in the process of doing in case Rossendale can't fulfil their fixtures."
