Blackburn Rovers’ Girls Centre of Excellence has teamed up with UK Athletics performance coach Don Lennon.
Lennon, who is Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon’s uncle, has joined the club’s sports science team to deliver four weeks worth of fitness sessions, focusing on strength and conditioning, speed and acceleration.
Lennon’s coaching career includes three European Champions and seven English School medallists, however his most significant success was working with two-time Olympic gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes.
