NIKOLA Kalinic is hoping to deepen the Toon Army’s gloom this afternoon – after being stuck at Zagreb airport for six hours due to fog on Thursday.
The Blackburn Rovers striker was delayed returning home from scoring two goals in Croatia’s 4-2 win over the Czech Republic, but hopes to build on his midweek exploits.
Kalinic said: “I feel in good shape and am relaxed. I like scoring goals and hopefully I will against Newcastle."
