THE next few days are signficant in the life of Accrington Stanley.
Tomorrow we travel to Stockport County in what is a big game for us as we look to build on our first win of the season.
Then, on Monday night, we welcome Nottingham Forest in the first round of the Carling Cup.
What a night that promises to be with the Sky cameras coming to town again.
But while it's great to be on television, I hope that doesn't discourage fans from coming to the ground.
The games we had against Huddersfield and Bournemouth in the FA Cup a few years ago were memorable occasions - and it's great to be part of the atmosphere we generated.
The Forest game is one that will take care of itself. They are on a great run and haven't conceded a goal yet, so they will be coming to our place as massive favourites.
But we'll be looking to make the most of our home advantage and, that's why I hope people don't opt to watch the game on television and get down to the ground instead to make it an intimidating place.
In games like this the crowd can play a big part in being our 12th man and could make all the difference.
But, first things first - we'll be going to Edgeley Park tomorrow with a little bit of confidence after our first League Two win over Barnet.
It was important to get our first goal and then go on and win the game last Saturday.
You don't want it to drag on for three or four games before you get your first win because negativity starts to set in.
Typical of us over the last couple of years it was a bit nerve-wracking towards the end, but we scored at crucial times.
Tomorrow we play a Stockport team that's a bit down at the minute.
Their manager has said there is a cloud hanging over the town and the team and we'll be going to exploit that.
But while we know a little bit about Stockport, it's about what we do and we're confident we've got the players to win any game in this league.
