MANAGER Eddie Howe makes one change to the side which lost to Doncaster Rovers in midweek, as Ross Wallace comes in for the ever-present Wade Elliott.

Striker Charlie Austin makes his home debut against Norwich City, after completing a £1.2million move from Swindon Town last week, while the Clarets' newest signing, Bournemouth midfielder Marvin Bartley, is named on the bench.

Martin Paterson misses out through a recurrence of a thigh injury that had previously kept him out for almost three months.

Burnley, who are unbeaten in four home games, are hoping to maintain an unhappy hunting ground for Norwich, whose manager, Paul Lambert was a target to replace Brian Laws before Eddie Howe was appointed last month.

The Canaries have lost on their last four visits to Turf Moor and have won only once in 16 league meetings here.

Lambert appears to be trying to guard against another defeat by naming three centre halves in his line-up – an unusual move for the Scot.
