Rossendale are hoping to have two key players back in their starting line-up for Saturday’s visit of Beverley.
With the team out of action at the weekend due to a frozen pitch, Dale have been given an extra week to patch up their walking wounded.
Influential flanker, Danny Collins, is an almost certain starter on Saturday after almost three months on the sidelines with a knee injury.
And backs player/coach, James Bramhall, could return following an ankle injury.
Long-term injuries Danny Harrison and Sam Greenwood are still awaiting their comebacks as is Matt McKenzie who has been out for a couple of weeks.
“It’s frustrating not to be playing because it disrupts us,” said forwards player/coach Tim Fourie. “We were on a five match winning streak but the weather has seen us lose that momentum.
“The only good thing is that it has given the likes of Danny and James another week to get fit.”
