THERE cannot be a cricket fan not feeling the tension and excitement ahead of the fourth Ashes Test...and bring it on.
The Boxing Day Test at Melbourne promises to be a true landmark occasion in front of a world record crowd.
And, of course, the fourth Test between the oldest rivals Australia and England has just about everything on it.
With the Aussies making their fightback at Perth last week the series is right back in the melting pot - and I am sure the red faces of England will have been replaced by a gritty determination.
Momentum may be with the Australians after the WACA whacking and England need to dig deep to fight back and claim the win that means the little urn will be travelling back here.
The MCG is a bear pit with almost 100,000 mainly Aussies doing the baiting.
It will be tough, it will be dramatic - but boy will it be fun.
And tomorrow night when I am as full as a melted welly, I will settle down to watch the drama unfold.
I can't wait.
