ROVERS captain Chris Samba has threatened to quit Ewood Park unless Blackburn's players and fans are given answers about the club's future.
The Congo defender is the latest senior player at Rovers to voice their anger over the sacking of Sam Allardyce by the club's Indian owners Venky's last week.
The Lancashire Telegraph understands that no verbal or written transfer request has been issued by Samba, contrary to reports.
But the 26-year-old said: "If this is the way the club's going to be run from now on, I don't want to be part of it and I want to leave.
"As captain it's very difficult to say this but I've thought long and hard about it. Nobody in football understands the decision to sack Sam."
"The players and fans need answers about the club's future. Unless we commit to who the manager is, how can we attract big players in January?"
