BURNLEY coach Getty Schinkel said everything is beginning to come toget-her after seeing his young side run in six tries - three of them for fly half Simon Finnan.

But the South African says his side still need to find that killer instinct if they are to finish teams off.

“I was happy for the boys and every-thing we have worked on is beginning to come together,” said Schinkel. “But we need to be able to play for 80 minutes and not just 40 or 50.

“We are making it hard for ourselves and that lack of a killer instinct mea-ns we are letting teams of the hook.”

Scrum half Gerhard Botha scored two tries while Matt Calvert also touched down as Richard Griffiths kicked five conversions and a penalty.

But Burnley conceded three tries, something that concerned Schinkel.

“The win is great but I am keeping my feet on the ground. We wasted too many try-scoring chances, missed too many tackles and conceded three tries which wasn’t good enough.”
