COLNE and Nelson Firsts travelled up to Carnforth looking to continue their winning streak only to come unstuck by a strong home side.
Colne started well but seemed to go off the boil allowing the home side to control the game.
The second half saw the decisions go Carnforth’s way and Colne struggled to compete, final score 25-13. Colne travel away again next weekend hoping to gain some points from Aspull.
The Seconds suffered a big defeat at the hands of new team Millom who remain undefeated in the league, the score finishing at 55-12 The junior section had a better weekend with the under 14s beating a strong Warrington under 14s on their home ground, running out 2-5 winners.
