BURNLEY have cast their scouting net further afield by appointing Perth-based coach Paul Wozny as their new Head of Youth Australisia.
The Clarets, who have established ties in America, are now looking to the Yorkshire-born UEFA ‘A’ licence coach to help them to tap in to emerging talent Down Under.
“A lot of British clubs have representation in that part of the world and this is a good way for us to do a similar thing. We are just trying to find another potential source,” said Burnley’s director of youth, Martin Dobson.
“Paul is ideally suited for the role.”
