BIKES: Oulton Park will host the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship decider this weekend, and the battle to be crowned champion will be decided in an epic six-way fight over three races.
Tens of thousands of fans will witness the crowning of the new champion at the Cheshire circuit, with the first BSB race taking place on Saturday and the usual two races on Sunday as Worx Crescent Suzuki’s Tommy Hill prepares to defend his 11 point lead over his Title Fighter rivals at the triple-header season finale.
Australian Josh Brookes currently lies second and has won more races this season than his Title Fighter rivals.

Barritt, from Barrowford, and his Japanese driver finished third overall in the Production car class, going some way to make up for their spectacular exit last time out in Sapporo..
Victory went to Mitsubishi driver Armindo Araujo, who collected his third PWRC win and now goes to the final round, next month’s Rally of Wales, needing just eight points to seal back-to-back titles.
ROAD RALLY: Entries are available for this month’s Morecambe Illuminations.
As a round of four major regional championships, organisers Morecambe CC are hoping for a capacity entry for the 160-mile long event, which starts and finishes at the Vale of Lune Club on October 23-24.
Entries forms are available from the club website www.morecambecarclub.co.uk, and as a non-spectator event, the only way to see the rally is by marshalling.

Red Rose Classic MCC are holding their Waterside trial for pre-65 solos at the Sportsmans Arms, Kebcote, starting at 10.30am on Sunday.
