BLACKBURN Rovers reserves suffered more late heartbreak in this evening's 1-1 draw at Bolton.
Michael Potts' early strike had given Rovers reserves a deserved half time lead but Tope Obadeyi's 91st minute equaliser earned the hosts an unlikely draw.
Rovers took the lead on eight minutes when Josh Morris made progress down the left and crossed for Potts to smartly drill home from 18 yards.
The visitors continued to dominate and Jamie MaClaren should have doubled the lead on 24 minutes but saw his close-range strike well saved by Rob Lainton.
Junior Hoilett looked a constant threat for Rovers while Grant Hanley was solid on his return from injury.
After the break, Hoilett waltzed through Bolton's defence almost at will and should have been awarded a penalty and some individual brilliance midway through the half.
Substitute Tom Hitchcock volleyed over late on and Rovers made to pay, just a minute after seeing Andy Parry dismissed for a second yellow card.
