ROBBIE Smith scored two goal and made two as Barnoldswick completed the league double over Ashton.
It took a 93rd minute to separate the sides earlier in the season but, this time, victory was more straight forward as Town climbed up to eighth place in the Vodkat League Premier Division.
Smith set up the opening goal for Neil Chapman on 15 minutes then added the second 10 minutes later when he cut through the Ashton defence to score.
Smith should have scored his second but fired wide on 47 minutes but made amends on the hour with a delicate volley in to the top corner to give the keeper no chance.
Substitute Paul Barrett made it 4-0 in the 76th minute and again Smith was involved, heading a cross back in to the path of Barrett to ram home from close range.
And in the last minute, Aaron Hollingdrake scored his first goal of the season.
