Joint manager Ben Hall lavished praise on Barnoldswick in the wake of their 4-0 drubbing of Formby Town at the weekend.

Hall reckons the Victory Park romp was the best he has seen from his players in his time at the club and enthused: “Some of the passing and movement was of the highest quality and we we’re really made up.

“The three lads who made their debuts were excellent, and they fit in superbly but the effect it had on the other lads was plain to see.

“The new lads have given everybody a lift, and if we can continue playing in the same vein we will continue to earn us points.”
