BURNLEY boss Brian Laws is confident that he does not need to add to his squad with loan players at the moment - but he will continue to monitor the market for hidden gems.
Laws held back a small portion of his summer transfer budget in an attempt to capitalise on the loan market after the transfer window closed at the end of August, with Premier League teams having to name 25-man squads this season under new rules.
But the Clarets manager has been content with his side’s performances and is in no desperate rush to add to his squad.
That will not stop him making a move, though, if a talented player becomes available.
"I'm happy with the squad but there's absolutely no way I'd turn the blinkers on and think that there's not a possibility,” said Laws.
“I'm still ready and waiting if necessary to make changes or bring somebody in to freshen things up.
"But it's not something I'll be dwelling on. We've got a squad here that I feel is good enough. I couldn’t ask for anything more from the players.
“It hasn't been stretched becuase we haven't got many injuries. However, you've always got to keep an eye on things and keep your finger on the pulse.”
