TOWN were quick off the mark to beat Formby thanks to two goals in the opening 15 minutes.
Headers from Robbie Smith and Bill Williams put them 2-0 up and it was 3-0 in the 36th minute when Neil Chapman’s effort was cleared to Spencer Jordan who turned home from two yards.
Formby were a threat on the break but Town wrapped up the points just before the hour when Chapman cut in side to cooly curl the ball home.
Town are now unbeaten at home in eight matches.
