LANCE Ogunyode put Bacup on the road to victory as they returned to league duty with a bang.
The West View side’s cup exploits mean they are alre-ady playing catch-up in the league so it was vital they picked up all three points.
Ogunyode pounced a mistake by a Flixton defender to fire Bacup ahead just before the break.
Bacup had chances to extend their lead Ogunyode, and Kayde Coppin both failing to score. Flixton levelled through Ashley Mullholland in the 55th minute but Daniel Cocks put Bacup back in front before substitute Falco Lourenco sealed the win.
