Peter Smith’s Clitheroe are in third spot, but could have been in second had they been able to hold on to a two-goal lead against big spending AFC Fylde in midweek.

The Blues were 2-0 up going into the final 10 minutes of the Shawbridge clash only to be pegged back as Fylde scored twice to claim a share of the spoils.

Clitheroe will look to put that disappointment behind them tomorrow when Radcliffe Borough roll into Shawbridge.

Borough are in mid-table but boost a formidable squad, including former Manchester United goalkeeper Nick Culkin and will provide a stern test of the Blues.
