BOTH managers voiced their complaints about novice Premier League referee Anthony Taylor after the Blackburn Rovers' 1-1 draw with Fulham.
Visiting Fulham boss Mark Hughes claimed the referee was too inexperienced to handle the game after the official allowed a controversial goal for Rovers.
Hughes said: “It was a foul for their goal (by Diouf) so we are disappointed and our performance in the second half merited a win.
“I don't think the referee has had a game like this before, it’s only his second game in the Premier League.
“I just feel there’s a lot going on off the ball when you play the likes of Blackburn and you need an experienced referee to recognise that and understand what's going on.
"Maybe that’s why he missed the challenge on my goalkeeper.”
Meanwhile Sam Allardyce believed, has the ref sent Fulham goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer off for handball on seven minutes, the afternoon could have been different.
“Of course we are disappointed in some of the refereeing decisions,” said Allardyce. “We got away with the goal, yes, but Schwarzer should have been sent off after seven minutes, then a big penalty shout on Dioufy on 67 minutes and on the other Diouf after 77.
“We found ourselves frustrated because if those decisions are given in your favour, then while you haven’t played well you have the opportunity to win the game.
“The referee needs to make more right decisions than wrong ones and I don’t think he did that today.”
