ROSSENDALE’S new coaching regime got their first win under their belts and they’ll be watching the DVD to try for a repeat performance.
The player/coach pairing of Tim Fourie and James Bramhall have taken over the reins at Marl Pits and saw their side turn in a slick display.
“It was a well deserved first win of the season with an outstanding team performance against a very good and well organised team,” said backs coach Bramhall who is currently out injured.
“We will watch the DVD as a group and learn how and why we played so well and hopefully produce anot-her good performance next week at Billin-gton.”
The Albinson brothers, Jamie and Thomas, will do doubt have their fingers on the rewind button having scored 16 of the 21 points between them - Jamie scoring two tries.
Leyton Taylor barged over for the opening try which was converted by Thomas Albinson.
Brother Jamie produced a moment of individual brilliance, showing a dummy and bursting clear to score, again converted by the other Albinson. Leading 14-10 at the break, the Albinsons repeated their early efforts to stretch Dale’s lead to 21-10 before Park kicked two late penalties to give the final score a flattering look in favour of the visitors as Dale completely dominated the match.
