The Rams’ brief flirtation with the FA Cup is over for another season.
The draw against a unbeaten higher league opposition was always going to be tough and so it proved.
But despite having to field a weakened side, the Rams put up a brave battle before two quick goals midway through the second half was their undoing.
The Rams created plenty of first half chances with Mark Drew, Andy Dawson and Ian Flannery all going close.
But two goals from Chris Almond, one from the spot, sealed the win.
