PRESTON North End manager Darren Ferguson pointed an accusing finger at referee Kevin Friend after Burnley edged a thrilling derby clash 4-3.
Ferguson fumed: “The referee has done as much as he can to win the game for Burnley.
"The sending-off was a disgrace - never in my life have I seen a sending-off like that.
"The only thing I was thinking at 3-1 was that it could have been more.
”But even with 10 men you don’t expect to lose a game from there.
"All credit to Iwelumo though for his hat-trick, it was a great strike to get them back in it.
”We were in control of the game. In terms of football there’s only one team that’s played today.”
