ACCRINGTON Stanley played out a third successive goalless draw on the road in League Two as they claimed a point at leaders Torquay United this afternoon.
A draw was enough for Torquay to climb to top spot in the division but Stanley slipped to 10th despite remaining unbeaten in six games this season - even if five of those matches have been draws.
Stanley's two other away games in League Two this season saw them draw 0-0 at Northampton Town and Oxford United, and John Coleman named the same side that shared the points at home to Wycombe Wanderers last weekend.
Ian Dunbavin had to save a Chris Zebroski effort in the first half but Stanley almost won it in injury time as Andy Procter's header was kept out by a fine stop from Scott Bevan.
