SAM Allardyce has warned Blackburn Rovers ‘beware the killer touch’ – as he looks to avoid falling foul to an unwelcome threesome.
The Rovers boss has not lost three Premier League matches in a row since taking the Ewood Park hot-seat 21 months ago, but fears Manchester City’s firepower could destroy their “remarkable” record.
Rovers travel to the City of Manchester Stadium this afternoon on the back of consecutive defeats against Birmingham and Arsenal, with Allardyce now determined to upset the Premier League’s goliaths.
Allardyce said: “In my time here we have never ever lost three Premier League games on the trot, that is in my entire time here.
"When Neil McDonald told me that I asked him to check again because that is remarkable.
“When I came here we were second from bottom and looked like relegation fodder.
"This is a major achievement and I don’t want to lose that record so I want to go to Manchester City and get a result.
“At Eastlands they are very, very difficult to beat. It is going to be a difficult task we know that.”
