BURNLEY eased to victory in their first tour match in Singapore today.
New signing Ross Wallace put the Clarets ahead against Singapore League side Gombak in the 43rd minute after smart play from Wade Elliott and Dean Marney.
A second followed three minutes after half time as Chris Eagles, who last week turned down a move to Rangers, collected a pass from Wallace and drilled home.
Chris Iwelumo headed home Eagles' cross on the hour mark and Steven Thompson converted a centre from Elliott before Jay Rodriguez added a fifth from the penalty spot after David Edgar had been fouled with 13 minutes left.
Burnley: Brian Jensen (Craig Mawson 76), Tyrone Mears (Richard Eckersley 67), Clarke Carlisle (Leon Cort 64), Andre Bikey (Michael Duff 64), Brian Easton (Danny Fox 46), Graham Alexander (David Edgar 67), Ross Wallace (Alex-Ray Harvey 67), Dean Marney (Kevin McDonald 64), Chris McCann (Wade Elliott 34), Chris Eagles (Jay Rodriguez 64), Chris Iwelumo (Steven Thompson 64).
