Padiham have appointed former captain Craig Chadwick as their new manager for the 2010/11 season.
The Storks’ management committee decided to make an ‘in-house’ appointment rather than bring in a fresh face, after recent applications from across the north west for the post vacated by Graham Haworth last month.
Chadwick’s first match in charge will be on Saturday with the club’s opening pre-season friendly at Prestwich Heys.
