IT'S now all down to Sunday's World Cup final between France and Italy to see which Burnley fan will have the honour of donning the Clarets' number 41 shirt for this season's Championship campaign.
Fans entered a World Cup sweepstake draw for the chance to be given a squad number, £1,000 and the chance to meet the Burnley first team squad.
And with just two teams left in the World Cup, Chris Blakey of Burnley and Ronald Rushton of Nelson are the ones battling it out for the honour of becoming Burnley "players".
Chris, who will give the prize to his son Jake, five, will be cheering on Italy.
Ronald has pledged to hand over the shirt to grandson Luke if France win tomorrow's final.
