ROSSENDALE United chairman Steve Hobson says the Stags won’t rely on big bucks this season as they look to make an instant return to the Northern Premier League.
United suffered the heartache of relegation to the Vodkat League on the last day of last season but Hobson is sure they can bounce back.
“Rossendale is not going to rely on money throughout the season, unlike other clubs,” said Hobson. “Money helps, but does not always guarantee success.
“Pre-season is going well, and the players are determined to look for every success this year.
“The manager has recalled several players who will help develop the squad.
“The league is going to be tough, but it is always important to aim for success.”
