BLACKBURN Rovers legend Colin Hendry has put his home up for sale just days after he was declared bankrupt.

Lytham Estate Agents is marketing the luxury home in Lytham overlooking the Ribble Estuary for £1.75million.

Grade II-listed Ivy House in West Beach boasts three reception rooms, five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a dining kitchen, study, playroom and a large double garage as well as extensive gardens.

It was put on the market for £2.5m in June 2007 when Mr Hendry was considering other job opportunities after the end of his time as manager of Blackpool FC but in the end the family stayed there.

The father-of-four, whose wife Denise died last July after a botched plastic surgery operation several years earlier, had been declared bankrupt at a hearing last week.
