RAMSBOTTOM have signed Tasmanian batsman Alex Doolan as their new professional.
The 24-year-old will take over from former Lancashire man Francois du Plessis at Acre Bottom when the South African heads home early next month.
They had signed Aussie Usman Khawaja - but he will not be coming now after his selection for the Australian squad for the series against Pakistan.
