Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes England will triumph over Slovenia to reach the knockout stages of the World Cup.
But Wenger insists that England will only make the next stage if they play with more freedom.
Fabio Capello’s squad has come in for heavy criticism since they were held to a 0-0 draw by Algeria on Friday.
Their opening draw against the USA means that England have to beat Slovenia to guarantee a place in the last 16.
Their preparations have been hit by rumours of discontent but Wenger expects them to go through.
“To do well at the World Cup you start and then become stronger and stronger,” he said.
“England started slowly so will they become stronger and stronger?”
